Carroll Leadership in Technology Magnet Middle School |
Good Afternoon Carroll Cougars and welcome back from Spring Break! This is your principal, Ms. Keech with this week's announcements. A copy of this transcript will be share through the Carroll Yahoo Email group.
Carroll families, our period tardies have decreased and more students are getting to classes on time. However, we are still having a problem with first period tardies to school. Therefore, we will be adding first period to our tardy sweep starting Wednesday of this week. Please make sure that you make every effort or arrangement for your child to be on time to school each and every day. They are missing content area academics any time that they are late for school. With EOGs rapidly approaching our students need every minute possible for learning. We appreciate your support as we try to help every student be academically successful. Parents, with warmer weather approaching this week, this is an opportunity for you to review with your child our dress code. Please review our dress code located in the front of your child's agenda or on our website for appropriate clothing for school. Among other things, shorts and skirts must not be excessively tight and must adhere to the finger tip rule. All lost and found items will be donated this Friday, April 12th. Please encourage your child to come before school, after school or during CAT to see if any of their lost items are there. Also, please remember that this Friday, April 12th , report cards will be distributed. Parents and volunteers as EOGs are rapidly approaching we are still in need of volunteers to help us out with our State mandated testing program. Please make sure that you have registered to volunteer. The volunteer registration system is open every Monday for registration. That's all for now! Goooooo Cougars!
