Carroll Leadership in Technology Magnet Middle School |
Good afternoon Carroll Cougar Leaders! This is your principal, Ms. Keech with this week's announcements. A copy of this transcript will be shared through our Carroll Yahoo Email group and posted on our website under Keech's Corner.
Parents and students please remember that if you are having a problem with your tablet that can not be fixed by a student helper or teacher, please submit a "heat ticket". If you still have not received your tablet, please make sure that you contact our front office for an appointment. As we begin our second semester in school, some students are having to adjust to a change in schedule due to elective choices and the balancing of numbers in classes. Please be patient as we work to make sure that your child has the best educational experience possible. If you have any questions or concerns pertaining to your child's new schedule, please do not hesitate to contact their counselor for assistance. Carroll families, we have worked very hard on our arrival and dismissal procedures in order to have our students arrive and leave campus in a safe and orderly manner. Please remember that only bus riders are allowed to leave through the doors facing Six Forks. If you are a car-pool rider, you must exit out of your designated side door. This Thursday, February 5th will be our last "Cougar Chat" for prospective parents and students this year. If you or someone you know wishes to attend Carroll and wishes to learn more about our program, we will be beginning our chat at 7:45 am in the Media Center. This Saturday, Feb. 7th, our students will be competing in the Science Olympiad at Southeast Raleigh High School beginning at 8:30 am. We hope to see you there and wish all of our student participants good luck. We know that they will represent us well. Please continue to monitor our Google Calendar for upcoming events and Parent Portal for your child's academic progress. That's all for now! Gooooooo Cougars!.
