I grew up in Greensboro, NC and attended UNC-Chapel Hill, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Master's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. I am excited to begin my sixth year as Carroll's speech-language pathologist. I spend most of my time outside of school playing with my toddler twins (a boy and a girl). Carly Williams is the Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Specialist for Carroll Middle. She also serves as the AIG Teacher at Smith Magnet Elementary. Ms. Williams moved to North Carolina in 1999 from New York state, where much of her family still resides. She has also lived (and taught) in Arizona, where both of her sisters and her brother currently live. She has two beautiful nieces and three darling nephews in Arizona as well. Aside from working with gifted children, Ms. Williams loves reading, golfing, and spending time in the mountains of NC with her husband.
