Good Afternoon Carroll Cougars! This is your principal, Ms. Keech with this week's announcements. A copy of this transcript will be shared through the Carroll Yahoo Email group.
Parents, please remember that the deadline for returning portraits or money is Friday, may 3rd. If students do not return their portrait packet their school account will be charged just like when they don't turn in a missing/overdue library book. Tomorrow (Thursday, April 25th)" is Take Your Daughters and sons To Work Day." You must have turned in a prior request for educational absence approval form to receive an excused absence. Carroll families please remember that this is Clerical Appreciation Week. Please show all of our wonderful school secretaries and clerks how much we appreciate all that they do. Parents, please remember to sign up to volunteer! Volunteer registration is open every Monday for volunteer registration. We need all the help that we can get during EOG season (which is rapidly approaching in May). Please remind your students the importance of being on time to class and to always dress appropriately. That's all for now! Goooooo Cougars!

Parents please do not forget that Friday, April 19th is an Early Release day. Your child will be released at 11:45 am. Please make sure that they have a way home. Teachers will be participating in staff development and not available for parent conferences at this time. Families of rising 7th and 8th graders: Your child will be coming home with a registration card this week. On this card are the classes that they will be taking next year. Please review with your child, sign and return it the next day after you receive it. It's here finally! Our production of Alice in Wonderland will be presented this Friday, April 19th at 6:30 with a follow-up performance on Saturday, April 20th also at 6:30 in our Auditorium. Hope to see you there. Parents, please be aware that students are not to bring birthday celebration items to school (balloons, cupcakes and etc.). Please refer to district policy. Please also be aware that we are unable to dismiss students from the front office after 2:00pm. You must sign your child out of the front office before 2:00pm. This is due to the number of items that we are charged to do prior to student dismissal and our inability to help you after 2:00. Cougar families we are still in need of volunteers to sign up to help us with the state mandated testing program coming soon in May. Please register on Mondays on our volunteer registration system. That's all for now! Goooooo Cougars! Good Afternoon Carroll Cougars and welcome back from Spring Break! This is your principal, Ms. Keech with this week's announcements. Carroll families, our period tardies have decreased and more students are getting to classes on time. However, we are still having a problem with first period tardies to school. Therefore, we will be adding first period to our tardy sweep starting Wednesday of this week. Please make sure that you make every effort or arrangement for your child to be on time to school each and every day. They are missing content area academics any time that they are late for school. With EOGs rapidly approaching our students need every minute possible for learning. We appreciate your support as we try to help every student be academically successful. Parents, with warmer weather approaching this week, this is an opportunity for you to review with your child our dress code. Please review our dress code located in the front of your child's agenda or on our website for appropriate clothing for school. Among other things, shorts and skirts must not be excessively tight and must adhere to the finger tip rule. All lost and found items will be donated this Friday, April 12th. Please encourage your child to come before school, after school or during CAT to see if any of their lost items are there. Also, please remember that this Friday, April 12th , report cards will be distributed. Parents and volunteers as EOGs are rapidly approaching we are still in need of volunteers to help us out with our State mandated testing program. Please make sure that you have registered to volunteer. The volunteer registration system is open every Monday for registration. That's all for now! Goooooo Cougars! |
